Inspired by the architectural tradition of Epirus and built with local stone and time-honoured craft, Christies Luxury Suites rises quietly on a hillside above one of the most celebrated beaches in Greece. Construction followed the topography of the land rather than imposing upon it. The result is a property that feels as if it has always been here - because, in a sense, the materials it is made from have.
Each of the four suites was conceived as a distinct project: individual in design, different in character, unified only in the standard of care that defines them all. There are no identical rooms at Christies Luxury Suites. There are no generic decisions. Every surface, every proportion, every fixture was chosen for this place, at this latitude, with this view.
The Setting
Above one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece
Christies Luxury Suites sits on a hillside above Bella Vraka - the double-bay beach where two coves meet at a sandbar and the water turns a colour that visitors habitually describe as Caribbean. The beach is 150 metres from the property's private entrance. The harbour of Sivota is five minutes by car. The open Ionian stretches beyond it, towards Corfu and Paxos.
The suites were built amphitheatrically to preserve and maximise the view from every level. From the terrace of Orion, you can see Corfu on a clear day. From the courtyard of Poseidon, the pool mirrors the sky. The landscape is not a backdrop here - it is a participant.
